The Studio
At Cobham Music Studios we offer a purpose built facility for producing great music.
Whether simply rehearsing or recording an album, single or demo we offer quality in bundles but at an affordable price.
As well as the the recording studio, our live room (which can also be booked for rehearsals) has been acoustically tuned and has plenty of space.
The Studio has been designed primarily for recording a live band, but we are very flexible - we also have a separate vocal/isolation room. Both studios are air conditioned with broadband access. We even have a pub pool table for chill out time!
Cobham Music Studio’s are set in the middle of commuter belt Surrey, walking distance from the centre of Cobham. The Studio is in a private road and has plenty of parking.
Why not give us a call for an informal chat to see if we can help.

Ron’s Legacy — A Different Type of Studio
Cobham Music Studio’s were built by pioneering acoustic engineer Ron Choules in 2006. Ron built the studio to demonstrate a new sound elimination technique he had developed would work. Ron wanted to prove that the impossible could be achieved and that a timber building could have zero sound leakage, he achieved just that, but sadly the studio remains his legacy as Ron passed away in 2008.
Facilities — Recording Facilities and Equipment
With modern computer and recording technology there are unlimited tracks for recording.
At the heart of our system is an 8-core Mac Pro, with multiple disks for streaming audio running Logic Pro, Melodyne, Native Instrument’s Komplete (including Reaktor, Massive and Guitar Rig) and other key software. The computer has been set up and is maintained by one of the UK’s top Apple Certified Trainers.
Combining the flexibility of digital recording with the superb warmth of our analogue Toft Audio Designs ATB 24 Mixing desk, you will struggle to find a better sound.
Mic/line preamplification come via a vintage Neve 1073. The Neve 1073 is probably the most famous and possibly most desirable preamp in the history of recording
Monitoring is by Active Adams and Fostex monitors, Yamaha NS10’s are available on request.
8 x Beyer 150 headphones available.
